Vallecito Conservation and Sporting Association

The Vallecito Conservation and Sporting Association (VCSA) is a not for profit 501(c) (4) organization with the goal of relieving some of the burden and responsibilities of the under-manned agencies in the area in order to better our community and recreation opportunities, while securing the privilege of enjoying the local forest and wilderness for both our children and future generations.

The Vallecito Marina is a wholly owned subsidiary of the VCSA. We rent a variety of pontoon and fishing boats, paddle boards, canoes and kayaks. Visit the boat house for fishing licenses, tackle, bait, drinks and snacks.

The VCSA promotes education and recreational opportunities for families and individuals of all ages. Accessing the land and trails of Vallecito for all outdoor activities, this group works cooperatively with local agencies to augment their conservation efforts while providing local support in promoting safe and enjoyable use of our lands.

Marina
  • To represent the future of fishing, hunting, off road trails and in general access to Public Lands in the Vallecito valley.
  • To work actively on conservation projects, volunteering labor and expertise, often in cooperation with the many government agencies involved around the Lake.
  • To seek to influence the decisions of such agencies, as well as those of wildlife commissions, legislative committees, and elected officials in general.
  • To provide both members and non-members with the opportunity to meet, socialize and enjoy a sporting and conservation atmosphere.
  • To bring families together with programs that introduce youths and their parents to the traditional outdoor activities of camping, fishing and the shooting sports, VSCA creates a natural environment for strengthening relationships.
