Pine River Irrigation District

Growing up in LaPlata County, Vallecito Reservoir was a beautifully vital part of her child hood. She participated in the local 4-H and FFA programs. The irrigation water helped the pastures grow for their horses and livestock. Her family was able to grow a vegetable garden and harvest food for the winter. She would spend summer weekends at the Lake roasting marshmallows for smores, skipping rocks, and fishing till the sun went down. She studied Fish and Wildlife Biology at MSU in Bozeman Montana and loves fishing, camping and exploring all the beautiful lakes in Colorado.  She is grateful to be a part of the P.R.I.D. Staff, reserving the resources and passing on the lifestyle to her children and grandchildren. Some text goes here
